How to pay for application or renewal

• You pay a fee when you apply, and it must be paid before we can process your application.
   
• You can pay the application fee by VISA, MasterCard or invoice.
   
• If you have paid the application fee, you will not receive a refund if you withdraw your application or we reject your application.

• You must regularly pay a fee if you want to retain the rights.
   
• You will receive a notification letter when the payment deadline approaches, but no invoice.
   
• You can pay with VISA, MasterCard or via bank transfer.
   
• You can find the payment details for your trademark, design or patent in our register.
   
  • To pay for renewal, search for and select your trademark, design, or patent in the register. Then, click on "Payment" or "Payment history" in the left menu, and select the shopping cart button*

    *For trademarks and patents, the shopping cart button will appear six (6) months before the payment deadline. For designs, it will appear twelve (12) months before the payment deadline.
     
  • If you choose payment by card, the payment will be processed immediately. If you choose payment by bank, you make the payment at your bank or online bank using the information provided in the order.

Fees and charges paid in excess of NOK 300 will not be refunded unless requested.
