Conditions 

  • A patent application is filed by a medium-sized company with fewer than 20 full-time equivalents. 
  • The description, patent claims and drawings are a total of 25 pages. 
  • There are 16 patent claims in the application, and all the patent claims revolve around the same invention; But with different embodiments, as well as varieties. 
  • During processing, the applicant submits new claims, and there are 17 claims when the patent is approved. 

About the fees 

  • 10 claims are included in the application fee. 
  • 14 pages are included in the granting fee.

Annual fees
